The Importance of Locally Grown Flowers

...and a Gallery of Some of Our Blooms

Who doesn't love a fresh bouquet of flowers? They bring happiness, beauty, and speak a language of care and consideration.

Most people, though, aren't aware of where many of the flowers sold in the United States originated.  In fact, they would be shocked to learn that nearly eighty percent of those flowers are imported from other countries worldwide.  These flowers that were just bought as 'fresh' are nearly a week old by the time they make it to your hands, after being subjected to extensive transportation without a water source and heavy doses of insecticides to kill off any little bug that would cause a customs inspection failure.

We grow cut flowers as an alternative to imported flowers because we care about our community and this earth.  By buying our flowers, you are getting blooms that never leave water and are delivered within the day they are harvested.  We use organic practices, so no harmful chemicals will ever touch our flowers or enter your home.  And you can feel good about substantially reducing your carbon footprint by eliminating most of the transportation of imported flowers. When you buy from us, you can feel good about supporting local business, your neighbors and your community.
